One of my responsibilities is to create animated gifs to be used on multiple social media platforms.

Above is the latest social post for Workday to celebrate the lunar new year. It was designed by one of our designers Amanda Hong and myself.

Holiday

The theme of this design was about celebrating the holidays with loved ones. The challenge with this was the people and it what way that tells the story. An idea I had was to have them to sway back and forth as the fireworks went off. I rigged each character in order to get them to move naturally. Next was to time the fireworks so it guides your eye to the final lockup.

Treasure

This was a personal project I did for Inktober 2019. I took the Inked drawing to the next 2 levels by vectorizing it and the animating it. I guess you can think of it as boarding, design and final animation. It turned out well and I love the colors and overall design of the piece.

Thanksgiving

For the Thanksgiving holiday, I wanted to create something different by making a stop motion with a Turkey made of construction paper. The idea was to have a crumpled paper rolling in the frame followed by it building into the scene. This is one of my unique projects where it still holds up today.
